Just plain FUN! (Games & Quizzes)

That long green thing is a snake, and he has to eat as many mice (yes, those are mice) as he can, without bumping into the walls - and you have to help him.

You play the game in a new window which will open miraculously when you click 'Start Snake Pit' below.

Wait for the applet and sounds to finish loading (this may take up to a minute if you have a slow connection). The game screen will show 'Game Over' once everything is ready. In the meantime you can look over the instructions below.

Start Snake Pit

Press 'S' to Start the game and 'P' to Pause it. Use the up, down, left and right keys on your keyboard to manoeuvre the snake around the maze. Gobble up the mice to score 10 points each, but avoid running into the walls or yourself or you lose a life (and you only have 3!).
(Note: If the game doesn't seem to be responding to key presses, click your mouse pointer in the game area).
When the red key appears, grab it to advance to the next level, and earn 200 bonus points. If you make it through all five levels, you start back at the beginning, but the game will move a little faster. An extra life is awarded for every 500 points scored.
If the sounds start to become really annoying, press 'M' to mute them.
(Another Note: If the game appears to run slowly on your machine, try turning the sound off. This will not affect game play).
